What is a prehearing conference?
A prehearing conference is a hearing that allows parties to organize the issues in the case, set dates for filing motions, compose discovery deadlines and/or attempt to resolve the matter. Prehearings can be held telephonically or in person depending on the availability of the ELJ or the parties involved.
