Do I need to post any warning signs if I sell tobacco products?

If your retail establishment has as its primary purpose the sale of tobacco products, you must conspicuously post on all entrances to the retail establishment a sign in boldface type that states "NOTICE: It is unlawful for a person less than 18 years old to enter this store."

An establishment selling tobacco at retail shall post and maintain in a conspicuous place, at the point of sale, the following: "The sale of tobacco to persons UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE is forbidden by Indiana law." and "Smoking by Pregnant Women May Result in Fetal Injury, Premature Birth, and Low Birth
Weight. For assistance in quitting smoking call: 1-800-Quit-Now (1-800-784-8669)”
