What is the wage gap?
The wage gap is defined as the difference between what the average woman, working full-time year round, makes compared to the average male working in that same category. Nationally the wage gap is 77% and in Indiana it is 72%. This means in Indiana that for every dollar a man earns, a woman makes only 72 cents.
