Why would the State of Indiana come up on my credit report?

 

It could be for one of the following reasons:
Delinquent payment of state taxes; a hospital bill, Family Social Services program/issue.

For tax issues call the Indiana Department of Revenue , Collection Department at (317) 232-2165, or e-mail taxpayer assistance .

If you owe for hospital care, contact the Department of Insurance at (317) 232-5054.

If it is a child support issue, contact the Kids' Line at (800) 840-8757. For or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or food stamp issues contact FSSA, Division of Family Resources at (800) 403-0864
