How should a state agency transfer records to the State Records Center for storage?

The State Records Center is a records storage and retrieval facility for semi-active state government records; records must be approved for Records Center transfer in the relevant records retention schedule

Detailed instructions for transferring approved records to the Records Center are available in the Records Center Handbook for State Ageny Staff  (pdf format). The associated Record Transmittal and Receipt Form (SF 23628) is available online in both MS Word and PDF formats.

For more information, call the State Records Center at 317-591-5325.
