How do I prevent or report a public records disaster/emergency such as flood, fire, or other widespread damage to public records?

To report such a disaster and obtain help in determining how to salvage/preserve remaining records, call the Indiana Commission on Public Records at 317-232-3380, or e-mail rmd@icpr.in.gov.

To aid in preventing such occurrences, the Indiana Commission on Public Records provides a Guide To Preventing Records Disaters.
