How do I order copies of records from the Indiana State Archives?

Records can be requested by phone, e-mail or postal mail, or by visiting the State Archives in person. If sending written correspondence, be sure to include:

1. A short but detailed explanation of the records you are seeking including any relevant names and dates.

2. A phone number or e-mail address at which you can be contacted for clarification of your questions and notification of any copying fees that may result.

3. A clearly written postal address to which your records may be sent.

Additional details and full contact/location information for the State Archives can be found on the State Archives website or by calling 317-591-5222.
