Where can a person appeal a licensing decision or other order from the Department of Natural Resources?

An appeal (called an “administrative review”) of a DNR decision is made to the Natural Resources Commission or its administrative law judge at the following address: Division of Hearings, Natural Resources Commission, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N501, Indianapolis, IN 46204-2200.  The same address applies to administrative review from a decision by the Historic Preservation Review Board, the Board of Licensure for Professional Geologists, or the Board of Registration for Soil Scientists.

For more information, please see the Commission’s webpage for Appeals.  http://www.in.gov/nrc/2354.htm
