Who is required to report child abuse or neglect?

Any individual who has reason to believe that a child is a victim of child abuse or neglect must make a report. Call our toll-free hotline (1-800-800-5556) if you suspect child abuse or neglect. Anonymous reports are accepted. Failure to make a report can be a Class B misdemeanor.
