What is Volume Cap?

Volume Cap is the annual capacity each state has to issue tax-exempt bonds for private companies.  The amount of Volume Cap for a calendar year is figured by taking Indiana’s population and multiplying it by $95.  The IFA is responsible for the distribution of Volume Cap throughout the State.
