What is a "related party" or an "associated party" in court  e-filing?

A "related party" or "associated party" is the person involved in the case on whose behalf the document is being filed. Filers must indicate the "related party" or "associated party" for each filing.

Note: please do not select all parties in the case as related parties, unless the document is, in fact, filed on behalf of all.
