What is the Court Improvement Program (CIP)?

CIP is a project funded by federal grant money to aid counties and programs to improve the safety, well-being and permanency outcomes for children and families in Children in Need of Services (CHINS) and Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) cases. Ordinarily maximum grants range from $25,000 to $35,000 and require a local match of 25%.
