There are several options for homeowners in foreclosure.

First, you may contact the Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network (IFPN) at (877) GET - HOPE (877-438-4673) or http://www.877gethope.org. This organization can provide you with a HUD-certified housing counselor at no cost to you.

You may also receive assistance from a pro bono or "modest means" (reduced cost) attorney. Please visit http://courts.in.gov/probono/2343.htm for help finding a legal aid provider.

Finally, you may contact the court and request a face-to-face settlement conference with your lender. You will need to submit to the court a form to request this conference. Find more information about settlement conferences at http://courts.in.gov/selfservice/2359.htm.
