What is the OUCC?

The OUCC is the state agency representing the interests of all Indiana utility ratepayers – including residential, commercial/small business and industrial utility customers – in state and federal regulatory proceedings that may involve utility rates, service quality, service territory and a wide range of other issues. The agency participates in cases before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state appellate courts.
