What is a protected class?
A group of people who benefit from protections of the Indiana Civil Rights Act, the Indiana Fair Housing Act, and other applicable civil rights statutes which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, and familial status (for housing only).
