Can I still apply for a handgun license even though I am an Indiana resident currently in the military and deployed out of state?

Generally, you will have to wait until you are home on leave, or you return home from your deployment to apply; because you have to personally visit your local law enforcement agency for approval and payment of your local fee, and to schedule your electronic fingerprinting at a Morpho Trust site. However, you may check with your local law enforcement agency to see if they have the ability to accommodate you by an alternative means during your deployment.
