What do you do in Annual Training?

Annual Training is a special time when all of the Major Subordinate Units (brigades and special commands and detachments) of the Indiana Guard Reserve come together to participate in coordinated training as a Division. Annual training encompasses such topics as: in-field emergency management, search and rescue, or land navigation; classroom instruction in emergency management, wellness, or leadership; practical physical fitness training and testing; and firearms familiarization, marksmanship training, and scoring on M16, M4, and M9 weapon simulation systems
