For State Employees Only: Can I terminate a temp employee?

You can request in writing that any person performing work for you be removed within a reasonable time. You also may reject the services provided under a QPAR and cancel the QPAR, if the personnel offered by Contractor fail to report for work within the first five (5) business days of the start of work under a QPAR, or if you notify the Contractor within the five (5) business days after the start of work that the contract personnel lack the skills specified in the job description.
