How can private forestland owners get help with managing their woods?
Every Indiana county is within one of the Division of Forestry's 20 cooperative forest management districts, so there is a district forester who can help you. If you own a minimum of 10 acres of forestland, contact your district forester for assistance in developing a management plan to maximize your benefits. A directory of district foresters can be found at http://www.in.gov/dnr/forestry/4750.htm.
