Who can use the services of the Shared Neutrals program?
Many types of disputes involving issues under the regulatory authority of a state agency may be appropriate for mediation. Consideration of mediation is required with respect to certain types of disputes. However, state agencies do possess the authority to identify those types of proceedings that are appropriate for mediation. We would suggest that you discuss the appropriateness of mediation with other parties to your dispute and then contact the chairperson of the Shared Neutrals Program for further information. Please note that certain state agencies have developed mediation programs to suit the needs of their specific programs.
